End User Licence Agreement

Codebrewerz grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Snugl for as long as your account is in good standing. The licence covers use of the hosted service and the API. It does not transfer ownership of anything.

This agreement covers the software. The service itself — uptime, billing, acceptable use — is governed by the Terms of Service, and what we do with your data by the Privacy Policy.

Use Snugl to shorten links for yourself, your employer, or your clients, including commercially. Build on the API. Automate against it. Resell links you create through it as part of your own product, provided you are not reselling access to Snugl itself.

Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source of the hosted service, except where that restriction is unenforceable under the law that applies to you. Resell or sublicence access to Snugl as a standalone product. Remove or obscure attribution where it is displayed. Use the service to build a directly competing link shortener.

You also may not use the software in a way that breaks the acceptable use rules in the Terms of Service — that section governs content and conduct, and it applies here too.

The destinations you shorten, and anything you put behind them, stay yours. Codebrewerz claims no ownership of them and does not licence them for any purpose beyond running the service you asked for: storing the mapping, serving the redirect, and counting the click.

The software is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, in which case the exclusion applies only to the extent permitted.

The licence ends when your account ends — whether you close it or we do, under the termination terms in the Terms of Service. On termination you must stop using the software. Anything you exported before then remains yours.

We may update this agreement. Material changes get a new effective date, and you will be asked to accept the new version before continuing to use the service — acceptance is recorded against the version you were shown.
